The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. On a stroll through the woods we came upon a luscious carpet of ferns. All beautifully, serenely green. My photo did them justice, but then I started wondering. All this uniformity, all this green, is there more to ferns? Do they dream? In color? I decided to explore, and sure enough in my studio the inner feelings sprang forth. Bright and colorful. My cafe art painting shows fern fronds in a rainbow of colors.
